Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuddd!
So Sasha and I went to Mt. Snow over Memorial Day Weekend. Apart from misplaced keys, a forgotten purse (retrieved the next day) and a flat tire we had a fabulous time.
One afternoon I decided to take Sasha to Grout Pond and hike around it. In the back of my mind I already heard Sasha singing: Mud, mud, MUUUDDDD, oh how I love good old mud. Since I heard from fellow guests that the hike is superb in that it is easy and dry I thought Sasha was just dreaming. We get there, I start walking and within seconds we reach, yes, you guessed it, mud.
A VERY happy Sasha looked gleefully at me and did a nose dive. This is what she looked like afterwords:

Once we had completed our hike I found a beautiful entry to the crystal clear pond. I got her trusty Chuck-It ball and walked toward the pond. There were probably about a dozen people, all staring at Sasha - I could hear her yell: "Get out of the waaaaay, I am going after the ball." The mud was flying everywhere, people saying "Oh my God, where has she been". The ball flew into the pond and Sasha followed it with abandon. Ten minutes later she was clean, I was happy and people were still staring at me.
Ah well, a dog's life...
